Cantu Define & Shine Custard Product Review

The curl definition I have been experiencing lately is like nothing I have seen since I have been natural. I have great shine, great definition, excellent moisture and wonderful smelling hair and I haven't changed a thing in my hair routine but the product. Let's Talk About IT....

My recent Instagram posts of my hair have sparked some questions regarding what I have done differently and honestly, I have just been experimenting with new products and stumbled across another that I love from Cantu.

Here are the facts: Ultra-moisturizing ingredients make the driest curls defined and healthy. This Define and Shine custard helps reduce hair bulk, elongates curls and provides enough hold for long-lasting styles that stay. Made with 100% Pure Shea Butter and formulated without chemicals or harsh ingredients, Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair restores your real, authentic beauty. Embrace your curly, kinky, or wavy hair with Cantu for Natural Hair.

Here is what I think: I am truly in love with the Cantu's Natural Hair line. The pricing of this line compared to other Natural Brands is non-comparable. The quality is great. This product provides deep penetrating moisture. I don't have to drown my hair in it in order to see a difference. I really enjoy that this is a styling product that gives definition to my curls without clumping or tangling them. I add the product while wet and I find that i don't have to reapply, my hair really locks it in.

Pros: very moisturizing, smells great, affordable, no harsh chemicals, provides amazing curl definition, not hard

Cons: has a gel like appearance that is quite misleading seeing as the product has no gel like qualities, such as strong hold, etc.

 3.5 out of 4 stars

Overall: I will continue to purchase this product because I absolutely love it. The smell and the moisture it provides alone make this an absolute prize of a product. No need for any leave in overpriced custards that leave me with nothing but false promises and limp curls. Its affordable and readily available. And a little product will get you places lol.

Where can I find this product? wal-mart, target, cvs, walgreens
